DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


i.To thoroughly clean and disinfect all areas of the shelter;

ii.To perform general cleaning of laboratory glassware;

iii.To take care of instruments and equipments in the laboratory;

iv.To plan and supervise maintenance of laboratory/workshop facilities;

v.To observe animal appearance and activity for general sign of illness and physical condition;

vi.To determine amount and type of food animals receive;

vii.To take charge and handle animals as required;

viii.To take care of instruments and equipments in the animal house; and 

ix.To perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor


 QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE


Holder of Certificate in one of the following fields; Medical Laboratory Sciences, Health Laboratory Technology or related qualifications from a recognized Institution

  Call for Proposal: Research Program   The Alliance for Health Policy and Systems Research together with WHO is inviting proposals for country case studies on Big Catch-up Immunization efforts in selected low- and middle-income countries.   The study will focus on immunization activities conducted over an eight-month period, aiming to strengthen health systems and vaccine coverage. Eligible applicants include teams from:Cameroon, Nigeria,Pakistan,Tanzania and Yemen. Funding Details: Up to US$ 80,000 for a single case study.
